AHEC OF SUMMER 2026
About The Program
Recent High School 2026 graduates and rising seniors and juniors will have an opportunity to participate in a structured, hands-on health care learning experience led by trained educators and healthcare program supervisors. Students explore healthcare career opportunities using interactive workshops, tours, lectures, and speakers while applying their science knowledge to everyday scenarios experienced in the healthcare profession.
***Please note: Selected students are required to have their own transportation to and from the facility. (Email SELAHEC1971@GMAIL.COM with questions.)
Applications will open February 23, 2026 and close April 23, 2026.
About Washington Parish AHEC of a Summer:
This program will take place at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital, located at 433 Plaza St, Bogalusa, LA 70427.
